TB-500 is a synthetic peptide supplied as a lyophilised powder for in-vitro laboratory research. It belongs to the β-thymosin peptide family. This family is studied for how it binds actin monomers, the building blocks of the cell’s internal scaffold [1][3].

Suppliers do not always use the same name or description for TB-500. Always check that the product page and the batch COA name the same compound.

What has been studied? (preclinical research only)

• Actin binding. Biochemistry studies showed how this peptide binds and holds actin monomers, and mapped which parts of the sequence take part [1][2].
• The β-thymosin family. A review sets out the structure, distribution and known molecular interactions of β-thymosins [3].

What to check before you buy TB-500 in the UK
